Dr. David McLean elected as Vice President of The International Society of Dermatology

Bunnell, Florida - June 11, 2009 - The International Society of Dermatology (ISD) has announced that it has elected Dr. David McLean to the position of Vice President. Dr. McLean will hold the position for 5 years. Dr. McLean was the Division Head of Dermatology at UBC for 12 years, and is currently a Professor of Dermatology and Skin Science.

The ISD was founded in 1959 and has a particular interest in global dermatology, specifically basic sciences, venereology and public health and in teaching dermatology in developing countries. Its official publication is The International Journal of Dermatology which is published every month.
